The Tuscaloosa County Commission should be ashamed to impose their Junk Ordinance on us. They write the rule, employ the inspector, define the violation, impose the fine and collect the money. They should call it “Junking up your property rights”. The solution to this problem is to elect commissioners that can distinguish between democracy and communism. (John R. Montgomery, 10-21-2008)

Are we getting to the place in our society that when we drive down the road and are offended by the way a persons place looks that we have the right to tell them to change the appearance of their place? (Danny Hembree)
