Sound Off
If you would like to have your "Sound Off" posted on our website please e-mail your "Sound Off" to Danny Hembree (see contact page).
Try
to keep your thoughts to a sentence or two but no more than a paragraph. We want to be able to add as many of these sound offs as
possible. Your thoughts could be about how you feel about the "Junk" Ordinance, Home Rule, the Flood Ordinance,
the ACCA, the direction our commissioners are going and or anything else that you feel is relevant to our cause. "WE THE
PEOPLE" need to be be heard. This is you chance! So get that e-mail to Danny Hembree so your voice can be heard!
This "Sound Off" was found between the 6 and 7 mile marker on highway 171.
The Issues
The Tuscaloosa County Commission should be ashamed to impose their Junk Ordinance on us. They write the rule, employ the inspector,
define the violation, impose the fine and collect the money. They should call it “Junking up your property rights”. The solution to
this problem is to elect commissioners that can distinguish between democracy and communism. (John R. Montgomery, 10-21-2008)
Are we getting to the place in our society that when we drive down the road and are offended by the way a persons place looks that
we have the right to tell them to change the appearance of their place? (Danny Hembree)
Jean Tresch (Marshall County Junk Ordinance Victim) gives a thumbs up for Tuscaloosa County Property Rights Alliance's new
portable sign.
